Disable Syntax rule in ecs file using Oracle Document Editor
Dec 4, 2012 3:07 PM
Please suggest me how to Disable Syntax rule in ecs file using Oracle Document Editor.
I am working on 527 EDI outbound transaction and I am getting the below error.
If either of RCD02, RCD03 is present, then all must be present. The syntax rule P0203 of Segment RCD is violated. Segment RCD is defined in the guideline at position 040.
This error was detected at:
Segment Count: 6
Element Count: 2
Characters: 228 through 229
An X12 syntax error occurred.
For my project only RCD02 element is required and RCD03 is not required, But where as 527 ecs file has the Syntax rule P0203 which says If either of RCD02, RCD03 is present, then all must be present.
So I would like to disable this syntax rule in 527 ecs file. Please suggest on the same.
I have the same question

in response to
To change the syntax and dependency rules-
1. Open the ecs in Document Editor and click the data segment.
2. In the Details pane, click the Properties tab and go to the Syntax Rules section.
3. Click Edit Rules.
4. Now add, modify, or delete the rule
