Having more than one accessid is supported even though strongly not recommanded. But that's not for the purpose you are looking for. It is for hosting more than one application.
Or at the least, to make the second accessid running the read-only processes.
Could you explain a little bit more why you would want to have different accessid for online/batches use ?
In the night, both onlines and Batch run simutanesously. If we have 2 Access IDs one for Batch and one for Onlines,we intend to put a High Oracle Resouce plan on Onlines and lower the priority on batch, there by giving more resources to the Online Database ID .
Symbolic ID's are tied to users. A user only has one symbolic ID. Do your batch programs run as a unique PeopleSoft user or are they scheduled by normal online users?

-They run via unique PeopleSoft Oprid PS.
I asked, because that is the only requirement. You just set the symbolic ID of your batch user to a different symbolic ID.
