This issue sound a bit wearied, but true i am facing it.
I am in a support project where client's language is PORTUGUESE(Brazil). And ORACLE EBS version is 11.5.9 .
Today i got an issue where user gave me a list of 15 project numbers and she isn't able to search it in oracle. In fact all these projects wer created many years back and all created in ORACLE, not from any legacy system.
User had just given me the responsibility name and the project numbers.
We here have 4 instance
I tested in all the 3 instances apart from PRODUCTION i was able to find the project number with the same responsibility as the user. Here i had logged in by selecting English as language.
Now I tested in all the 3 instances apart from PRODUCTION again but here i had logged in by selecting Portuguese as language, was able to find the project number with the same responsibility as the user in SIT & PROJECT instance. I wasn't able to find it in UAT.
So i thought here there might be an issue of folder option query.
So in UAT I went to System Administrator > Application > Administrator Folder
There i selected responsibility and passed the responsibility and clicked find.
I found that there were 2 folder created for this responsibility.
But non of them had any where clause attached to it. :( :'(
