Try as OS user (typically oracle ) which DBCA was executed at moment creation of database:
    srvctl remove db -d name1
    ASM remove database error

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

We tried but showing the below error.

    PRCD-1027 : Failed to retrieve database IT64
PRCD-1229 : An attempt to access configuration of database IT64 was rejected because its version 11.2.0.1.0 differs from the program version 11.2.0.3.0. Instead run the program from /u01/app/oracle/11.2.0.1/product/rdbms/oracle_home.

    Thanks & Regards,

Error occurred while trying to check the status of the database using srvctl command in 11.2.0.3.0 version , To resolve this issue shutdown all instances and use old oracle home's srvctl to remove the database configuration first
    srvctl remove instance -d <Databasename> -i <instancename>

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

We executed below things from old home(11.2.0.1).It works.

    :/u01/app/oracle/11.2.0.1/product/ginfra/grid_home/bin: export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/11.2.0.1/product/ginfra/gridhome
    grid@itseelm-ax2051:/u01/app/oracle/11.2.0.1/product/ginfra/grid_home/bin: ./srvctl config database -d IT64 Database unique name: IT64
    Database name: IT64
    Oracle home: /u01/app/oracle/11.2.0.1/product/rdbms/oracle_home
    Oracle user: grid
    Spfile: +IT64_DATAGROUP01/IT64/spfileIT64.ora
    Domain:
    Start options: open
    Stop options: immediate
    Database role: PRIMARY
    Management policy: AUTOMATIC
    Disk Groups: IT64_DATAGROUP01
    Services:

But we unable to get a downtime to execute srvctl remove instance -d <Databasename> -i <instancename>.
Is there any alternate method without shut the database. It's a non rac database.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Vn
