I've seen in sum posts that it's advised to assign interactive user role to the user in this kinda issues. After doing that I'm getting a new error -
Detail:Error creating DBRules. Cannot continue.
Detail:Error loading objects from data source: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
When you say you have installed it on your pc, which OS is it running?
Do HBR tables exist in the schema you are using for business rules, what roles/privileges does the Oracle user has for the EAS schema.
OS is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. For configuring essbase, i've used only one schema and configured essbase server, eas, eis, essbase studio in that schema only.
The user is the default user admin and I don't know how to check it's privileges on eas schema.
** Database is Oracle DB 11g **
Re-configured eas database and the problem seems to be solved.
