Apex IR Download Issue

Hi,

I am new to Apex and I facing below issue. I would be grateful if someone can help me on this.

I am generating an Interactive Report through an SQL. The Where clause in the sql is fetched from the form (say, form with text field "Emp No" - P_Emp_no).

Select Emp_no, Emp_name from Emp
where Emp_no = :P1_Emp_no;

So, when I click on "Go", the report fetched will be filtered with Emp_no from the form.

Something like this http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=44785:2:0:FORCE_QUERY::2,RIR,CIR:P2_SEARCH,P2_PRODUCT_ID:Installing%20the%20Learning%20Library%20Packaged%20Application%2C2039

Now,
The report works perfectly. But, when I try to download the data via (Actions--> Download --> CSV), it downloads all the data from the table. The download do not filter it with Emp_No. Is there anyway, can i filter it?

Thanks in Advance.

Cheers,
Vidy

    So, you have a page item P1_EMPNO and a button to submit the page. What release of Apex are you in? Have you included P1_EMPNO in the "Page Items to Submit" list in the IR query?

    Can you setup a simple example for this issue in apex.oracle.com?

    Thank you for your reply.

    ^ Page is submitted by clicking the "Go" button in the IR search bar.
    ^ I am using Application Express 4.1
    ^ Yes, the item P_EMPNO is already added in the 'Page Items to Submit'

    And, you are attempting to download the IR data after the page is submitted?
    BTW, can you create an example in apex.oracle.com? That will help understand the issue better.
