In My case 184.108.40.206 RMAN password expired and backup failed. We want that RMAN user password should never expire. Kindly advice us how i can do this.
should i use
update dba_users set expiry_date=NULL where username='RMAN'
All the data dictionary views (DBA_*, ALL_*, USER_*, V$*) are provided to reveal system information from underlying and undocumented tables. You should NEVER - EVER issue DML against them.
or i should create a new user profile for password never expires and attached to RMAN user.
Thanks to all for advice.
