Hi ,
We are importing standard pos in R12.1.3
populating po_headers_interface with values as CURRENCY_CODE=non functional value , RATE_TYPE='Corporate' , RATE_DATE and RATE

We can see below cloumns in po_interface_errors as ...

ERROR_MESSAGE=Error: The rate value(VALUE=1.58342) specified is invalid.
ERROR_MESSAGE_NAME=PO_PDOI_INVALID_RATE
COLUMN_NAME=RATE
COLUMN_VALUE=1.58342

Not sure where it is going wrong, can someone please help us?

Thanks,
-Kittu

    Hi Kittu,

    Can you check whether you have defined, currency conversion rates in GL for the for the functional and non functional currency, you are providing in the interface
    (For the same rate type - Corporate).

    There are possibilities, that either you have not defined the currency conversion rate or the defined conversion rate is not same as 1.58342

    Hi Paarthy,

    Thank you very much for the response.

    Yes i have seen the rate is defined for that date.. from non-funcational curr to functional curr.
    And its not exactly the same as we populated in RATE column.

    So is it we need to check conversion rate in GL and pick it and same needs to be populated in rate column in po_headers_interface?
    data is coming middleware tool to po interface tables,this way of populating may not possible, need to check.

    OR
    Just populating CURRENCY_CODE= some value ,RATE_TYPE='Corporate' ,RATE_DATE= required date is enough, so that interface will pick the rate from GL and use it?
    I mean rate is null.

    Thanks,
    Kittu

    Hi Kittu,

    Either of them is OK.

    If you populate, the rate should be same (You cannot have different exchange rates for the same date \ same currency). That is the logic behind it.
