Using 64-bit Linux as a Build Machine For Java FX on ARM

Hi all,

I wish to install JavaFX developer preview on my Beagleboard xM. Unfortunately, for some reason, it seems that you must build the Angstrom distro on a 32-bit Ubunutu 12.04 Install. I can not install 32-bit Ubuntu on my ultra modern build machine with 16Gb RAM SSD etc... it just refuses to create disk partitions, however 64-bit Ubuntu installs without any issues.

Trying to follow the instruction for the 32-bit install does not complete successfully, as the opengl omap3 libraries seem to need 32-bit linux libraries - very peculiar?

Can somebody please advise whether it is possible, and if so how, to build the correct Angstrom distribution on a 64-bit Ubuntu install?

I HAVE NO OTHER BUILD MACHINE AVAILABLE :-(

Thanks
