looks like your privacy is managed ....
---- In Firefox the loading symbol turns and turns and .... still not able to access OTN. ----
lowering the noscript fences and allowing cookies is helping
looks like your privacy is managed ....Sure, when I cannot acces the site my privacy is managed best :-)
lowering the noscript fences and allowing cookies is helpingIt's an out of the box installation without restrictions on cookies or scripts. At least Opera and Firefox did not display the overlay after a restart. But here at work I have only IE 9 available and a restart will not allow me to access OTN.
What country are you in?1 person found this helpful
I tried another computer at work -> IE8 ok, FF 4 does not work (hangs with 63% complete)
We are stuck to some very old versions, because some applications won't work or are not certified with newer versions.
The IE8/FF4 are installed on XP SP3
The IE9 from above is on WIN7.
Opera and FF 14 also on WIN/, but on private PC.

Do you have any special plugins running on IE9?
Trying to reproduce, but not successful
No plugins. The environment is very restricted, so my possibilities to analyze are minimal.
Since I only tried to download the early adopter version of Data Modeler, I will use another PC and transfer the file to my notebook. Most important is that I have access to the forum :-)
Is anything disabled on your browser since it is so restrictive? Reason being, the same thing will be rolled out to forums and other sites early next year, so you may again have this issue.1 person found this helpful
Sending a screenshot of what you see to email@example.com would be helpful as well
It's working in IE9 now after rebooting. I still have no idea where this comes from. The only addon nstalled that is suspicious is McAffee - scriptproxy. But I cannot disable it to test, more so because I cannot reproduce the problem any longer.
So after restarting the browser or rebooting there is only a (very old) version of FF left that does not work. I will not have access to the PC until next year. When I'm back at work in January, I will try it out and send you a screenshot when the problem is still there.
Merry Christmas to you and your team
New year, new luck ;-)
at the moment I cannot reproduce the problem. It even works with FF4.
Thanks for your patience
