    opening oracle composer directly

    sgcmnk
      Hi All,

Is it possible to open the page with ctrl+shift+c clicked. My requirement is that, once i open the page e.g, http://hostname:port/Intranet/faces/untitled1, which contains a content presenter template, it should open with content edit mode(i.e. with the new, edit and refresh icons).

May i know how to achieve this?

      Thanks

Did you mean Ctrl - Shift - E (for Composer) or Ctrl - Shift - C (for Content Presenter)?

Either way, I think it just calls a javascript, so you should be able to do the same (e.g. bind it to the onLoad event)

              For Composer:

              - add Page Customizable to your page
              - run the app, open your page and see its page source
              - search for 'ctrl' string
              - you will find (among all) something like: 'contentContribKey':AdfKeyStroke.getKeyStrokeFromMarshalledString

I though it might be possible to call the code directly, but it seems to be an attribute of an object AdfPageCustomizable, which I cannot analyse further. Therefore, you might have to simply simulate the key strokes - like http://stackoverflow.com/questions/596481/simulate-javascript-key-events

              - note also, that this piece (it is a part of a javascript) is added as a part of reaction to window.onload

Therefore, you might have to hook a different onLoad event.

              - to add a javascript (simulating key strokes) to jspx see http://adfcodebits.blogspot.co.uk/2010/03/bit-3-adding-javascript-to-jspx-page.html

Content Presenter can be done in a similar way - unless you find some short cut

Just curious, why would you like to open the page in either of these modes?
                What's the use case?

                Kind regards,
