Using Windows 7, Java JDK version 1.7.09Are you sure that's the JDK version that is actually being used? Possibly you have some (older) Oralce products installed which have added their binary paths to your local search path (environment variable "PATH"). These often contain some older version of Java, so even though you've installed a supported version, an unsupported (older) one is executed.
To find out, run
If you don't get 1.7.09, you have different options:
- Add your JDK to your search path (or, if it's in there already, move it to the front)
- Add the path to your desired JDK in your Java call, preferably by using a new environment variable, so your final call would look like
"%JAVA_HOME%"\bin\java -jar apex.war
