    Application Server (Process Scheduler) Not Booting

      Hello to all!

      Having a quite difficult time booting the App. Server. Not sure what is going on? Not to my knowledge has anything changed to make the App. Server not boot this time. Probably a clinch, but still want to share my frustration. I presently run an Oracle 10g DB, PeopleTools 8.50.14, Windows 7 Ulimate PC and here's what I am experiencing (see below):

          You have obviously a problem within your database which is not in stable status, are you able to connect with SQL*Plus ?

            Good day to you! Thanks for getting back to me! I am able to connect through SQLPlus, but the DB is not opening, but I am aware of that now. There was a past post that spoke on this similiar issue (ORACLE Initialization or shutdown in progress When performing the instructed commands, I got this script:

            What's odd is that the DB service is started. I have increased the DB Recovery File Dest Size to 30G and still nothing. At any rate, what can you make from this observation? Be Blessed

              Your database is not opened, but mounted. Regular users cannot connect onto there.
              You seem to have :
              1. an obsolete parameter set, please check the alert.log file of the database
              2. too many files in your recovery area, you could increased db_recovery_file_dest_size, 30Gb is probably enough, so read the note *Space issue in Flash Recovery Area( FRA ) [ID 829755.1]*+ to see how to remove archivelog, expired backup...
