Server 2: EPMA, Calc manager, Essbase Admin services
      Server 3: Essbase server
Installation and configuration is completed successfully,

but in server 2 EPMA, Calc Manager, Essbase Administration Services services not started.
When i start try to start manually, after some time when i click refresh its going down

      Reply would be appreciated.

      Thanks,

I do not think you appreciate the replies that is provided by anyone.. :)

Can you check the Windows event viewer to see if there are any error messaged displayed in there?

Are you starting the services in the required sequence..
Are you able to ping the Database server?

          Thanks.

            Hi HyperionEPM,

I will appreciate definitely, when i get helpful information from replies.
I am able to ping Database server.

Any way, I checked in eventviewer, In Event ID it is showing 0(zero).
            Description:
The description for Event ID 0 from source HyS9EPMAWebTier cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

The Java Virtual Machine has exited with a code of -1, the service is being stopped.

the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table

            Thanks,

Check the sysout and syserror logs generated by EPMA and Calc to understand the issue for the services going down.

The location would be normally under Middleware_home/user_projects/epmsystem(x)/diagnostics/logs/services

              Hope this helps

              Thx

                Hi Vivek,

I found the message in HyS9EPMADatasynchronizer-sysout:

                <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000365> <Server state changed to FAILED>
<Error> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000383> <A critical service failed. The server will shut itself down>

Make sure weblogic admin server is running and then try to start the web application and see if it makes any difference.Looks like it is not able to encrypt username and password used for creating the weblogic domain.

                    Thx
