      Hi All,

We have R12.1 Instance with RDBMS 11.1.0.7.0.
Here undo table space is got filled up to 95% , all data files are not in AUTOEXTEND.

In this case i need to add a data file?
If i dint add a data file, is database performance will be poor?

      Please suggest.....

      Thanks

Undo tablespace full when datafiles are not in autoextend mode is normal. Pl see this MOS Doc

Full UNDO Tablespace In 10gR2 [ID 413732.1]

If you arr note seeing any ORA-01555 errors, you do not have to do anything.

Do you see any errors in the database log file (like ORA-30036 Unable To Extend Undo Tablespace)? If not, then there is nothing you need to do.

Automatic Tuning of Undo_retention Causes Space Problems [ID 420525.1]
