    Siebel platform dependency

We have Siebel production environment on HP-UX and plan to setup development environment on Solaris platform.
Will there be any issues with this kind of a setup from a development and release management perspective?
The SRF files, repository and non-repository files are they going to be platform dependent?

Any views would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

The SRF is not platform dependent, as Siebel Tools can only run under Windows.
The other files are not platform dependent either, for as far as I know.

But from a testing and management point of view this is not a desirable situation.
Sometimes bugs can occur on one platform, while another platform can be immune for that bug.
I'm not saying that it will happen, but you never know.
