      hi all,

while doing some research on error, alert log file says check in trace file and it full string. but when i checked that, in that location trace file is not generated.

is there any reason to trace is not generated.

      Thank you

What version of database you are using?
Are you there is no job to trim the trace files? using ADRCI or manually?
          SQL> show parameter trace_enabled
You can also test to generate a trace file, by enabling trace to any one of active sessions and check whether it is generating or not.

              trace_enabled boolean TRUE
