Does it mean oracle 11gR2 cannot be installed on ubuntu 12.04. But i have seen so many posts on internet where people had success..
I also read the installation guide and it does not say anything.It would appear that whatever account you are using to run the installer is unable to create one of the directories mentioned. Do you have the necessary privileges? Is there enough disk space?
The error i am receiving seems to be a very trivial one may be i am not sure
