Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions
The priority is associated with a particular user. I do not believe it can be set as a parameter using CONCSUB. One option you have is to create a new user, set the concurrent priority profile for the user, and use this user to submit just the one concurrent request.
Please let me know is it possible to change the priority of a concurrent request submitted by the batch user(any particular user) only. How the request is being submitted? Is it from the application or the OS or using an API?
1)Why don't you schedule the concurrent program from the application under that specific user and set the priority then?
I know we can use the profile option but that does not serve the purpose because i dont want the priority of all the other requests submitted by that user to be changed ,just for one particular concrrent request i want this to happen.
From system admin also it can be done but this will make the priority of that request to change so it will be the same irrespective of the user.
Actually i want to CHANGE the priority of a concurrent request only when it is submitted by a particular user (through CONCSUB utility)and that should affect the priority of other requests submitted by that user ,they should remain as it is.
I also believe you cannot set priority if you use CONCSUB for a specific concurrent program under specific username.
