Segment delimiters in Host Trading Partner

    963638
      Hello All,

I am attempting to change the segment delimiters in a document definition within my host trading partner. However when i select the override version param checkbox those fields are still greyed out which prevents me from changing the delimiters.

A pic of what I am describing can be found here:

Remember this is in the host trading partner under the documents tab.

      Oracle 11g.

Remember this is in the host trading partner under the documents tab.
Version and Doc Type parameters can only be overridden for a remote trading partner (not for HOST). You may refer B2B user guide -
          To override document details:
          Click the Partners tab.
          Click the Documents tab.
          Select a remote trading partner.
          Select a document definition.
Select the override types that apply:
          Override Version Param
          Override DocType Param
Provide values to override values on the Version tabs or the Document Type tabs, or both.
          Click Save.

Okay so I have the delimiters set to override in my remote trading partner

However I still receive the B2B-50083 error: Description: Document protocol identification error.

Here is a pic of how I overrode the delimiters:

FYI this is an inbound agreement

Have you redeployed (SAVE+VALIDTE+DEPLOY) the agreement after overriding the delimiter? If no then please do so and retest. Also make sure that the file which you are using for testing is valid.

Turned out to be bad data Anuj, thanks.

It seems B2B can automatically detect different segment delimiters. No need to even override the version params.
