I have Oracle DB 11.1 EE on Win 2003 Server. I want to move it to Oracle DB 11.2 SE on Win 2008 Server. I want to keep the structure and server name.
What's the best or fastest way to do it?
5. Try to configure pfile/paswd & startup database
oradim -new -sid PROD -intpwd SECRET -startmode A -maxusers 100

My goal at the beginning is to make an identical database, but since I have two different Oracle versions, I'm advised to use expdp and impdp. Now the question is what am I missing by using expdp and impdp? (i.e. to make same file structure, do I have to create tablespaces before import,....)
