I am planning on making an adapter for the Oracle NoSQL Database to allow it to be used easily in a programming language other than C or Java. I wanted to know if it would be better to use the C or the Java api for Oracle NoSQL to do this. It looked to me like the C API still ends up using Java, so I assume the Java one would be better? I know Java a lot better anyway.
Also, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for what language would be best to make an adapter for. The languages I have been considering are Python and PHP, but I'd also consider any other language for which people think there might be more interest in an adapter for Oracle NoSQL.
Thanks for reading and your comments!
You can find a similar effort started by Jesus Del Valle here: https://github.com/yeysus/14a.
He comments on it in this thread: Re: Bindings for other languages?
Coray, we look forward to your work.
