Avoid printing of blank page

I am having following issue. In reports 10g if there is no data returned by the data model query then is there any way I can avoid blank page to be displayed in the output.
There is a blank page being printed everytime if there is no output generated. Instead I need to get oracle generated message "this concurrent request did not generate any output"

Any inputs would be of great help.

    This can be accomplished by:

On the data model: Create a summary object outside of the query that stores a value from the first record returned from the query.

On the layout model: Create a boilerplate text item "this concurrent request did not generate any output" with a format trigger that renders TRUE if your CS object is NULL.

    Hope this helps.
