          You can use this package: owa_util.redirect_url

          documentation on it http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/portal.1111/e12042/psutil.htm#i1006199

          Thank you,

            Not sure where you have specified this text; but one option is to format the text as:
            Thanks for the registration..If you need more information please <a href = "http://www.google.com" target = "_blank"><b>Click Here</b></a>

              The text is this a source of a html region, a display only item a column in a report?

              Make the click part a link like
                <a href="your-url">click here</a>
              If it is a display only item make sure the value isn't escaped.
              And if it is a column use type standerd report column.

              If there needs to be a submit upon clicking then the link would have.
                 href="#"
                 onclick="doSubmit('YOURREQUEST')"
              Have a branch of type url instead of page.

                  Where are you storing the PDF file?
                  1) Database
                  2) OS

                  Regards,

                    Thx for helping me out

                    We use Database to store that PDF file.

                    Appreciate your help

                      Kp

                      Asuming with Database you mean that the pdf file is stored in your own table.
                      You have to use the function APEX_UTIL.GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC

                      Now where to use this function depends on what you use to display the text.

                      So is it a a html region, a display only item, a column in a report or something else?

                      Nicolette.

                          Your reply sounds great..
                          One tip i need is on how to manage URL for DEV and production

                          For exampme the URL i enter for development instance may not work for prod.
                          How to handle that and make it generic

                          I have the document appearing from a page. When someone click on that i am trying to redirect them to that page.
                          But would like to make that generic across all instances..how..

                          I am thingkning of using Branching..need some idea on that how to redirect from a html link

                            If the link is directly to an other page in the same apex application the url will be something like.
                            f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&APP_SESSION.
                            Since the link is to a page in the same domain that part of the url doesn't have to be included.
                            Saving you the headache of changing if you move from develoment to production.
                            &APP_ID. will be replaced at run time with the actual application id. So even if the application gets a new id assigned during import in production the link will still go to the right page.
                            Page numbers do not change during a import or copy of an application.

                            Have look at [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35125/concept.htm#CIHCFHBD]Understanding URL syntax and Understanding Substitution Strings

                            If you want to use a Branche you need to submit the page.
                            href="#" onclick="doSubmit('YOURREQUEST')"
                            Or use a dynamic action to submit the page.
                            href="#" id="My_Link"
                            And the dynamic action has than a selection type of jQuery selector and the selector is #My_Link
                            Use sumit page as action type.
