I would like to make a full backup of an APEX application including database tables and all rows. I've looked at the Application "Export / Import" function but this doesn't completely do what I would like (basically it only downloads a copy of the web-pages, not the data), although I like the idea of having a backup copy on my local computer.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Is there a script that can automate this? I don't have access to the database from the backend so cannot make a data backup that way.
I'm on APEX 4.2
Thanks for the link. I get a bit lost following all the various sub-links, but it looks like there are many possibly solutions to this. I don't have access to the DB directly so can't do options such as Data Pump Export. The automatic script mentioned in your link by matthew_morris might work, although I would really like to find a comprehensive backup plan that includes data and pages. Something like "export application" that also included tables and supporting objects etc. I take it this doesn't exist and so any backup must be done in parts...
