    Tape Blocks Limits; acceptable or worse?

      Hello,

      I am backing up Terabytes of Oracle database to Tape. We are using EMC Networker (former Legato Networker).
      I would like to know if the 2MB of block limits are acceptable for such big databases;

      Jan 17 04:38:57 prdsrv1 kernel: st2: Block limits 1 - 2097152 bytes.
      Jan 17 04:39:20 prdsrv1 kernel: st1: Block limits 1 - 2097152 bytes.

          Hello;

          Perhaps you know this but networker has a forum also.

          And there's a few questions in the ballpark :
