DB version: 126.96.36.199 / Solaris 10
For setting up dataguard where the standby is going to 50KM away from the Primary Site, we need to provide the bandwidth requirement to networking team.
At peak this DB wil have 100 KiloBytes being INSERTed every second. So, we would like to know how much redo will be generated if we have DML at a rate of 100KB/S ? Is it roughly the same of less than that ?
What was the busiest redo generation you've come across ?
