I have 3 dump files: A.dmp, B.dmp, C.dmp
Can I use multiple REMAP_TABLESPACE entries in a par file to remap the table spaces for the above dump file?
Parfile would look something like this:
The first remap entry is only relevant to A.dmp file
The second remap entry is only relevant to B.dmp file
You can use multiple remaps, but you can only import one dumpfile set at a time. A dumpfile set is a set of dump files generated with one expdp command. So, if your 3 dumpfiles were generated using more than 1 expdp command, then you need to run the same number of impdp commands.
The two are irrelevant. The dumpfiles used by expdp and impdp doesn't have anything to do with the tablespaces or the tablespace remapping.
A.dmp, B.dmp, and C.dmp must be from the same data pump export meaning you have three either because you exported with PARALLEL=3 or because you exported with FILESIZE=<something> and A.dmp and B.dmp reached that size.
