I have a Sun Blade 2500 with a fresh install of Solaris 10 8/11.
The sys-suspend command never seems to work. I see one of the 2 warnings below:
WARNING: Could not stop "unmount_tree" kernel thread.
WARNING: "idm_wd_thread" kernel thread not stopped.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Could you please try the following action plan:
1. disable automounter:
# svcadm disable svc:/system/filesystem/autofs:default
2. try to suspend OS:
I cannot guarantee that this will work, but it's worth to try.
Are you on the latest version of OBP? I had a problem with SB2500 that would not wake up after suspend and solution was the latest OBP firmware.
