How to manage shutdown event of OracleDependency

I'm using OracleDependency to track changes that happen on a table.
My application processes all the data newly added with OracleNotificationInfo.Insert.

I have no problem with using of OracleNotificationInfo and event handler but I was wondering if you had examples of what to do if the database stops : how to queue tasks I had to, or how to catch up the missed events ?

I use the event OracleNotificationInfo.Startup to relaunch my subscription and continue the applicative treatment as usual if the database would have to stop.

Thanks in advance for any help you could bring.
