          Hello,

          column names are usually not case sensitive and stored in uppercase in the data dictionary.
          You can enforce camelcase when you create a table by putting doublequotes around the column name
          CREATE TABLE "CamelCase" (
          "ColumnName" VARCHAR2(1)
          );
          SELECT * FROM user_tab_cols WHERE table_name LIKE 'C%'

          TABLE_NAME  COLUMN_NAME DATA_TYPE
          ----------  ----------- ---------
          CamelCase   ColumnName  VARCHAR2
          Though usually it is not a good idea to use case sensitive names, because you have to use the doublequotes every time when you reference the table/column.

          Regards

            Sql Developer shows the names EXACTLY as they are.
            create table "aBcDe" (col1 number)

            aBcDe
            If your table names are displaying in upper case that is because those tables names are ALL UPPER CASE.

            You can't - why would you want to display a name that isn't correct?

            If sql developer displayed the sample table name above ("aBcDe") using some other case how would anyone ever know what the table name really is?
