I have a problem with the web.xml file. There is a servlet called ordDeliverMedia which by default refers to the oracle.jheadstart.ord.html.OrdPlayMediaServlet class in the web.xml file. I change the default class to the mine, you say, app.util.MyOrdPlayMediaServlet. Now, when I generate one of the services in the JHs Application Definition Editor the changes to this entry are lost and again ordDeliverMedia refers to its default value, i.e., oracle.jheadstart.ord.html.OrdPlayMediaServlet. I am wondering that the changes to the other entries such as Faces Servlet or resources are not lost. What is wrong?
Anyway, I have migrated from JDev 18.104.22.168 – JHs 22.214.171.124.35 to JDev 126.96.36.199 – JHs 188.8.131.52.28
Unfortunately, we only check whether the servlet class is not set to the JHeadstart one, we should add a check whether the servlet class is set to a custom class and then leave it untouched.
We will put this on the fix list for the next release, for now I am afraid you need to revert the web.xml changes before checking in into source control system.
