Can a Solaris 10 system survive having it's root disks's LUN mappings change? The storage folks here managed to change the the HDS zoning on our M4000's root disks, which looks like the LUN ID's changed. The system panic'd and died. The paths were under the control of STMS / MPxIO drivers.
I was told by someone here that Solaris doesn't handle this type of event very well (evidently), but AIX has no issue with it. Which I found rather odd, but I don't know anything about AIX
