Got any date items? It looks to me as if your doing a wrong date convert somewhere, or perhaps try to insert a wrong date format.1 person found this helpful
I'm inserting only char type data no date.
The date data type is inserted just on DB by a trigger and shown by me jsut in some reports.
Also i searched something about the date format, i changed even in App properties at Globalization the format date to be like on my DB, also i change the NLS settings but no result.
Another hint, when i create the first time the object (number, type, department , etc), it's working but when i try to modify, update the row, i receive the error.
You had right, was a date format problem.
After the 4.2 update, i had an item Effective Date which in APEX took another format that the one from DB.
At inserting everthing was ok, but updating on the old rows was impossible till i changed the Date fromat in the correct one like on DB .
Regarding this date format. I set up the application to use DD-MON-YYYY format.
I have an item Datepicker into a form and a Datepicker item on current page.
Selection of any date is ok and keep the format in both situation, but after a page refresh, the Item from the current page return to me the format : YYYY-MON-DD ?
Do you know how can i fix this ?
