1. Look at the trail naming requirements, which does not include using an asterisk.
ADD EXTTRAIL C:\Goldengate\dirdat\t*, EXTRACT extr
2. Look at where TABLEEXCLUDE is used - you exclude first before wildcarding.
Use the TABLEEXCLUDE parameter with the TABLE and SEQUENCE parameters to explicitlyexclude tables and sequences from a wildcard specification. *TABLEEXCLUDE must precede all
TABLE and SEQUENCE statements that contain the objects that you want to exclude.*

Now the EXTRACT is added like this:
ADD EXTRACT extr , INTEGRATED TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW

GGSCI (TEST-SRV1) 29> REGISTER EXTRACT extr DATABASE
