1. Look at the trail naming requirements, which does not include using an asterisk.
ADD EXTTRAIL C:\Goldengate\dirdat\t*, EXTRACT extr
2. Look at where TABLEEXCLUDE is used - you exclude first before wildcarding.
Use the TABLEEXCLUDE parameter with the TABLE and SEQUENCE parameters to explicitlyexclude tables and sequences from a wildcard specification. *TABLEEXCLUDE must precede all
TABLE and SEQUENCE statements that contain the objects that you want to exclude.*
Thank you for your help. I've corrected those issues
Now the EXTRACT is added like this:
ADD EXTRACT extr , INTEGRATED TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW
GGSCI (TEST-SRV1) 23> ADD EXTTRAIL C:\Goldengate\dirdat\ts, EXTRACT extr
GGSCI (TEST-SRV1) 29> REGISTER EXTRACT extr DATABASE
2013-01-23 12:26:44 INFO OGG-02003 Extract EXTR successfully registered wit

The parameters file for extr is the following:EXTRACT extr
PASSWORD AACAAAAAAAAAAAEANJEILEYAOIUJKDTA &
BLOWFISH, ENCRYPTKEY GGKEY

The result is however the same:
GGSCI (TEST-SRV1) 36> start extract extr

The problem seems to be with the Golden Gate software which i downloaded from oracle.com. I've re-installed and re-configured the Golden Gate 188.8.131.52 version from edelivery - it seems to work. It means there is a buggy version at the Oracle official site!
It is always best to download software from MOS (myoraclesupport) and get the latest patches vs getting the builds from edelivery.
Don't you mean download the latest builds from eDelivery and get patches from MOS?
"Welcome to the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud. Here you can find downloads for all licensable Oracle products."
I wish I meant that.
A patch in GoldenGate is a full build... And because patches don't go on edelivery they are often outdated.
For example the latest builds of OGG are:
v184.108.40.206.4 That is only on MOS NOT on edelivery.
Always best to go just to MOS for Oracle GoldenGate.
True - at least with the RDBMS software, starting in 11gR2, patches will be the complete software.
Oracle GoldenGate builds have ALWAYS been full builds even before acquistion.
