Check the .dat itself and see if the value is there. There is a bug where the HFM user error log does not show the data value. The .dat should be printing <Entity Currency> if it is set in the location. If it is printed in the .dat, the line may be an invalid intersection.
Have you checked that the DataValue setting on the adaptor (in workbench) is set to Active?
That was it, thanks for the reply.
Does anyone know if this is a problem only to 11.1.2.x? I'm seeing "[MISSING_VALUE]" in the .dat file but for the location, the entity currency is set to "[None]". However, I'm comparing it to a current production system that's on 220.127.116.11 and it the location settings are exactly the same.
In the workbench, the DATAVALUE dimension is also set to active and required.
Yes, it was changed in 18.104.22.168
Thanks for the quick response Jeff. I'm still not sure what the solution would be in this case since it's my Value dimension member that's coming up as missing and i can't just create a mapping for it.
In the Location setting, the currency is set to [None] so I would expect it to default to <Entity Currency>.
You need to set it to <Entity Currency>;<Entity Currency Adjs> at the location level.
Once you do that it will populate the Value as <Entity Currency> in the .dat generated.
That did it, thank you. Should be my last question... if I have 50 locations, would I have to go in and edit each one manually? I tried changing just the parent location, but that didn't work.
Also, I found this in the latest 22.214.171.124 FDM guide:
Data Value—An extra dimension that is used only for integration with multi-dimension
target systems. This dimension is associated with a data load location. When FDM creates
the load file, the dimension value is entered for every data line that is loaded by the location.
For example, the Data Value dimension is associated with the Value dimension in Financial
Management. By default, if no value is entered in this field, for integration with Financial
Management, the Data Value <Entity Currency> is the default value.

Yes, you would need to update it for each location.
