After 3-4 attempts I was finally able to install R12 on my laptop with a Windows7 OS.
I did install R12 on a VM running OEL5.5.
Now I want to accss this instance from my host OS that is win7.
Can this be done and if yes how?

My Host file entry in host machine is
01/27/13-21:04:57 :: adopmnctl.sh: Starting Oracle Process Manager (OPMN)Is this the output of "adopmnctl.sh status"?
opmnctl: opmn started.
01/27/13-21:04:59 :: adopmnctl.sh: exiting with status 0
The instance is up and running as per me as I am able to access it from my Guest OS
