I have 11gR2 instance running and online in prod . There are some changes application which means some tables suppose to be moved to another instance of 11gR2 installed on same machine unix machine .Interestingly these tables and its indexes belongs to a set of tablespaces .So basically i need to do the following
1. move all tables in table space TRANSACTION to new instance on same machine
2. Move all indexes in table space TRANSACTION_IX to new instance on same machine
3. drop tables and indexes in source instance .
Size of the tables in tablespace is around 2TB .
Basiaclly I am looking how can i do step1 and step 2 ?
Is it possible to move index table spaces without re-creating it?no

You would need to look at transportable tablespace feature.
Bear in mind there are a lot of caveats with the transportable tablespaces. I spent a long time trying to move a key database from AIX to Linux using TTS, but there were just too many things which ended up missing.
As sb suggests, unless you can address all the pitfalls, etc with TTS, export/import might be your friend. Just make sure you have the tablespace and datafile in the target database before you import.
Yes, I agree. Export/import is the old school trusted way for sure :) .
