Importing Metadata in EPMA
Jan 28, 2013 7:44 AM
I am facing an issue while importing data in EPMA, what happens here is after deploying the application the alias name for one dimension isnot reflected.
We are using interface tables, first we load into interface table via excel file then deploy the application. This excel file has dimension and the alias name for that dimension.
The alias dont get reflected post deploying , any ideas on where to investigate...also if any could please tell me how to create new import profile in EPMA.

First make sure your alias dimension is associated with the dimension you are attempting to import. You can do this by right clicking on the dimension in EMPA and selecting View Associations.
To create new import profile select File -> Import -> Create Profile. You must be in the dimension library when you do this.
