I have two ASM nodes which serve as iSCSI targets for Oracle VM. This setup runs quite well, but I just noticed that one of my ASM nodes sports a process that eats most of the CPU cycles.
This process is called asmIntervalTime and I can't find anything about that anywhere.
Does anybody happen to know what this process is responsible for and why it might being acting up like this?
as far as I know these things has to do with file locking and unlocking.
However there has been some improvements in this area with the latest release. So I would upgrade to 220.127.116.11. + PSU (18.104.22.168.5).
