Question: When I do a ps -ef will the arguments be displayed.I don't see any reason why not, but why are you asking here instead of just testing it yourself? Why not just see what happens when you tried it?
How is the parent process send arguments to child ( sqlplus here) when ProcessBuilder is being used? The same way any parent process sends arguments to its child. The operating system provides the mechanisms: Java just uses them. It can't invent one of its own.
I see that they are displayed when I use Runtime.getRuntime().exec( command) where command has the string as above.Well there you go.
It sounds to me like you need to avoid the password option and feed it to sqlplus via its stdin.
I did a testing and sure that the arguments are displayed.
So would have to input via stdin ? do you have any example for this ?

Why do you need an example? It's straightforward enough.
