This would require some custom coding, but it is possible. It would likely require a small modification to an existing aspx file, along with a couple of classes that would be compiled and added to the scrm bin directory.
Can you describe which status they would want to show? If there were 4 sourcing approvals, each in a different status (say, Draft, Review, Pending, Approved), which status would show in the header?
thank you for your feedback.
We need to display the latest status regardless of which status. The latest status will be based on the effective date.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
Is the customer using non spec related sourcing approvals as the workflow process to approve a facility for a specific BU? Can you explain the business problem you are solving with non spec related sourcing approvals and how their status relates to the the facility?
we are trying to manage new Supplier Approvals with a No-Spec Related Sourcing Approvals.
We will be using a No-Spec Related Sourcing Approval for a Supplier's Re-audit too.
In this case his related facilities will be verified and finally Approved/Rejected.
It means customer will have to upload certification files in the facility profiles each year this needs to be audit.
For this reason the status of the last Supplier Document in the Facility has to be displayed at the header of the screen (i.e. near the facility name).
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks and Regards.
You may want to add an additional tag to your non-spec sourcing approval workflows. For example: Once the main supplier has been approved the non-spec sourcing approval can have a tag on it like "Company Approved" Then when you start a re-audit those workflows can have a different tag like Audit in Progress, Audit Failed or Audit Passed. Then the status can be pulled based on the tag and lastest workflow or create date of the non spec sourcing approval.
Our new Product Quality Management App could actually be used to track the "Re-Audit" results, so I would highly recommend using that application instead of the non spec sourcing approval. But since company and facilities aren't tied to workflows directly I would recommend using a non spec sourcing approval or even NPD project for approving new suppliers.
Ron should be able to help you with a technical implementation approach.
Michele, I'll send you a sample of how to implement this.
Did you get the sample?
thank you very much for your collaboration.
I tryed your code but, when I select a facility, the system print following error:
Unable to cast object of type 'Sample.SampleFacilityIdentityModelFactory'
to type 'Xeno.Web.UI.Common.Controls.ObjectHeader.ObjectHeaderModelFactory'
What am I missing?
Thanks and Regards.
