    how to run mkplug.sql ?

      Hello all.

      Sorry for my very basic question.

      I would like to have SH Schema setup in my Oracle 11g DB.
      so I understand I must run(mkplug.sql, sh_main.sql - correct me if I am wrong please).

      but to have that schema install, I am missing some sql script files.

      "$ORACLE_HOME/demo/schema/mksample.sql, you will notice that it is missing! In this directory, only the following files/directories are found:

      mkplug.sql
      mk_dir.sql
      Directories for HR, OE, SH, etc.

      The actual sample schema scripts are not present as part of a default Enterprise Edition (EE) install. So, where do we get these missing script files? "

      Thanks for any help.

            Hello Yoonas.

            Thank you for your reply.
            Based on the links suggestion, I created a new DB(NewDBORCL) using DBCA, when I try to connect to that, I get error
            ORA-28001 : The Password has expired

            Strange, I just created it and how can it be possible ? can you again point to good relevant links?

            Thanks

              OK, I have it solved.

              for Others Information who run into same issue.

              Open a command Prompt
              sqlplus / as sysdba
              ALTER USER SYSMAN IDENTIFIED BY NEW_PASSWORD ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
              exit

              as a example: the command looks as following :

              sqlplus / as sysdba
              ALTER USER scott IDENTIFIED BY tiger ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
              exit
