in the java EE6 tutorial, on p.172, regarding converter usage, it is mentioned -as the second method- that one can attach a converter on a component by just binding the value of the component to a managed bean property of the corresponding type. does this actually mean that the conversion is implicitly taking place, or we have to explicitly define the usage of a converter, either by also using a tag or a component??
thanks in advance!
Either tag or Component Class we will attach the Converter
If it is tag means we will specify the Converter in Delarative way
If it is Class means(through Binding) we will specify the Converter in Programmatic Way
If is Standard Converter we will use it Directly (It will take care of the Conversion from UI to Managed Bean )
If it is User Defined Means we must implement the Converter interface and we must do our Converter Stuff inside the implemented methods
