1] Whatever the value user selected in inputListOfValues, the table should show the record for that broker agency.
Is the inputListOfValues one of the column values in your table? Or is it outside your table component?
How is your data model setup in the AM?
2] Want the table and search field to be empty when page renders first time.
When you say "search" field is it part of the query component?
Refer to refresh property of the iterator associated with table.
1] Yes, inputListOfValues field is one of column of table. It is one of table component.
2] search filed is not a part of query component.

I'd suggest creating a simple testcase with HR schema and see if the issue reproduces.
Will try with HR schema.
Any suggestions on the approach. Because there are @ 4000 broker agencies and i can not show them in tabular format.SO i know initial search is one of option. Once user found what he was looking for , i want to show the details of it in table row.
May be use a Query Search and Result form?
Not sure if that's what you need but check here:
27 Creating ADF Databound Search Forms
And you can further restrict the number of rows your query returns either by setting a range size or filtering by setting up a default view criteria
Hope that helps.
