I am unable to get the details of the row 51 which I added recently.Did you remember to commit the row you added? Both the worksheet and the object editor Data tab toolbars have a Commit icon. Also, from the worksheet, you can type and execute the commit statement.
And once you commit, did check the Message - Log pane to verify that no error (e.g., constraint violation) prevented the commit from succeeding?
Thanks for the reply .
The database is commited . As i can see the change in the UI .
But my session is not able to interact with the current session of the DB .
The out it gives corresponds to the old stat of the database.
As I describesd earlier,The output from query is correct as of two months old.
Is there any cache setting in the sql developer that I am missing ?
Since your "magic number" is 50, the most likely reason is the following combination of configuration choices:
1. Your Tools -> Preferences -> Database - Advanced -> Sql Array Fetch Size is 50 (the default)
2. You choose to use a Java 1.7 rather than Java 1.6
3. You are not using the latest production release of SQL Developer
Either increase the Sql Array Fetch Size, downgrade to Java 1.6, or upgrade to the latest SQL Developer.
Hope this helps,
