To clean oracle applications,
1. Shut down application and database
2. You can launch Oracle Universal installer from database and select uninstall Product.
From the list carefully select the Oracle homes like RDBMS ORACLE_HOME, TOOLS ORACLE_HOME(10.1.2), JAVA ORACLE_HOME(10.1.3) you want to delete.
3. Then delete the INST_TOP and COMMON_TOP and APPL_TOP.
This way OraInventory also gets updated with clean un installation.

We have a Development server (RHEL 5) with multiple EBS instance R.12.1.3 installed (using split tier apps & db).
We want to do house keeping on these servers by removing all unused instance (Apps & DB).
Is there any guidance on steps how to do clean remove of unused instance ?
the purpose is to get additional free space as much we can.
Thanks for help !
