From 11g, oracle grid infrastructure software will contain ASM.
So install oracle 11g R2 grid infrastructure(11g ASM version) , 10g and 11g RDBMS databases can be run pointing to that ASM instance.
9i i dont think so.
Given the fact that ASM wasn't around when 9i was supported, I don't believe 9i can live on ASM. Isn't it about time to upgrade your 9i? Unless a "canned" application interrgates a database for it's version, I have migrated many to of these to 10 and 11g without incident (and more often than not got GREAT performance improvement).
