Verify the value in the profile option, QP: Item Validation Organization.
This was Vision Operations for both the site and
Responsibility level but I am still unable to maintain the price lists
I think you have to go to pricing administrator resp..and enable some grants across
yes I tried that as well and it did not make a difference. I also tried setting QP:Security Control = OFF to match my other vision instance and this did not make a difference either :(
Login to Oracle Pricing Manager
in the setup-->Security-->privileges.
query your price list and check if it is set to View only.
it is set to maintain
check the following profiles
QP: Security Default Maintain Privilege
QP: Security Default ViewOnly Privilege
QP: Security Control
I have tried setting these to the following and I still have the same issue...
QP: Security Default Maintain Privilege= Global
QP: Security Default ViewOnly Privilege = Global
QP: Security Control = ON (Using Concurrent Program)
QP: Security Default Maintain Privilege= None
QP: Security Default ViewOnly Privilege = None
QP: Security Control = Off ( Using Concurrent Program)
give me the vision details..I will try to check it.
this was the solution to this issue
1. Be sure to set the following profile option values at user level
a. QP: Pricing Transaction Entity = ORDFUL and save.
b. QP: Source System Code to 'Oracle Pricing' (if not already) and save.
2. Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
3. Navigation: Pricing > Price Lists > Price List Setup
4. Open the price list: XYZ CHARGES
5. The form will now open without error, and changes will be accepted
