best approach here is to use a popup. You may need to override the css to get the pointer
like desktop adf i see a amx:showPopupBehavior but dont see a amx:popup component ?
also what will be used to create the list in the popup? i dont see a menu component either
Hi there...1 person found this helpful
You should see a popup component in the layout section.
Also there is a new list view component, which can be set to static fixed data or databound. In ADF mobile, you have to get a little more creative with the use of components and styling. I also see that the display is an application menu.
ADF Mobile delivers a standard design pattern to achieve this through the springboard... however if you want that particular pattern, a styled popup is definitely the way you go.

how about a menu on click of popup ? i dont see the menu component to drop inside the popup.
also for just test i dropped a commandlink which on clicking the button shows up. howeverver, it does not go away when i either click again on the menu button or by clicking anywhere else by default. what i have to do to achieve that?
check the listview component. Its the closest thing to a menu that adf mobile has.
There is an auto-dismiss attribute on the popup, or you need to explicitly close with closePopupBehaviour.
this answers gotta be correct!
